Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Jack Schwade, MD, received his board certification in Texas in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He has been on staff at Medical City since 1974 and was the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab from 1980 - 2009. Dr. Schwade has served on a number of committees at Medical City Dallas Hospital during his career and he has been the Director of Cardiology at the hospital since 1980. Dr. Schwade attended Rice University in Houston, Texas receiving his undergraduate degree in 1962. Upon graduation from the UT Southwestern Medical School with his medical degree in 1966, Dr. Schwade went on to complete his medical residency (1970-1972) and his fellowship (1972-1974) at Dallas Veterans Administration Hospital. His Cardiovascular Research fellowship was completed at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1974. Dr. Schwade is a leader in the cardiovascular field and attended numerous cardiology programs and scientific sessions through the American College of Cardiology and other organizations. He has also been published in numerous medical journals and publications throughout his career. Dr. Schwade served his country in the U.S. Army Medical Corp in the 1960's as a Major and Battalion Surgeon in Germany. He is married and has three children.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Saad held a number of positions including Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at Wilford Hall, Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program and, later, Chief of Cardiology, Chief of Cardiopulmonary Medicine and Director of the Cardiology Noninvasive Laboratory at Wilford Hall Medical Center. From 1999 to 2002 he served as Chief Consultant to the USAF Surgeon General for Cardiovascular Disease. While in private practice from 2002 to 2012, Dr. Saad has been the Medical Director of the Coronary Care Unit, Medical Director of Telemetry, Vice-Chief of Cardiology, Chairman of the Cardiology Clinical Review Committee, Chief of Cardiology, Secretary at large for Methodist Hospital, a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Methodist Hospital, a member of the Medical Board for Methodist Healthcare System, and Medical Director for Inpatient Cardiology Services at Methodist Hospital.

Biography: Dr. Armando Yepes, MD, FACC is an interventional cardiologist with Dallas Cardiovascular Specialists at Medical City Dallas and Medical City Las Colinas. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, vascular medicine and endovascular medicine. Dr. Yepes has been in practice in the Dallas Fort Worth area for more than 10 years, and brings 15 years of experience to Medical City Dallas. He previously held various leadership positions including Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Las Colinas Medical Center, Chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Medical City Las Colinas. Dr. Yepes attended Medical School at the Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Seora Del Rosario at Bogot, Colombia. He completed his medical internship and residency in internal medicine at University of Miami School of Medicine. He has fellowships in cardiology from The University of Texas at Houston, Health Science Center Medical School and in interventional cardiology from Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix/University of Arizona College of Medicine. He is a Fellow the American College of Cardiology and Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Yepes specializes in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, vascular and endovascular medicine. Dr. Yepes is fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside of medicine, his interests include traveling, jogging, playing squash, snow skiing, and spending time with his wife and children.

Biography: Jeremy Enslein, DO, FACC, is a board certified cardiologist with Rio Grande Cardiovascular and Structural Heart in McAllen, Texas. Dr. Enslein began his medical studies at Nova-Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating with a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Enslein then went on to do both his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Osteopathic Medicine Center of Texas. Dr. Enslein wrapped up his medical training by completing a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. Dr. Enslein is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Enslein is board certified by American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine with certifications in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Enslein is an active member of American Osteopathic Association, Texas Osteopathic Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Osteopathic. He subsequently received his medical and PhD degrees at Stanford University School of Medicine. His internship and residency were served at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Stanford University Medical Center, after which he served on the faculty before joining North Texas Heart Center in 1999. Dr. Tan is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology. He has been named to the Best Doctors in America, Top Doctors in Texas, and Best Doctors in Dallas list for a number of years. Upon graduating, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He returned to Houston to complete his cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology fellowships at the UT Medical Center. Throughout his fellowships, he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow and received multiple awards, including the prestigious ``Cardiology Fellow of the Year Award.``

Biography: Julian Sanchez, M.D., is a Cardiologist with Corpus Christi Heart Clinic. Dr. Sanchez began his medical studies at Universidad del Norte. Dr. Sanchez dedicated two years of his life to the Colombian Army working as a medical officer. He moved to the United States in 1987, where he began his career as a Recipient of Intramural Research in the Pathology Branch at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. During his four years at this institution, he completed thirteen publications which focused on cardiovascular techniques of transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and autoradiography to study problems in Cardiovascular Medicine. He then went on to Medical College of Georgia where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine followed by a Fellowship in Cardiology with Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Sanchez has been practicing medicine in Corpus Christi and Beeville, Texas since 1998. Dr. Sanchez is proud to be a part of the official Cardiologist for Texas A&M Corpus Christi Athletic Department. Dr. Sanchez is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Chekuri began his medical studies at Osmania Medical College and went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at Abington Hospital. Dr. Chekuri then completed both his Internal Medicine and Cardiology residency and fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Chekuri is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr.Chekuri is a member of the American Medical Association. He has been a part of an array of research, abstracts, publications, and posters throughout his career. Dr. Chekuri has been in practice since 2005 in the Corpus Christi area. Dr. Chekuri actively participates in diagnostic heart catheterizations, temporary pacemaker insertions and interpretation of all non-invasive studies (echocardiograms, vascular studies, nuclear stress tests and coronary CTA).
