Biography: Laura Donovan, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at CUIMC in the Division of Neuro-Oncology. She completed her undergraduate work at Providence College and earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. Following an internship in internal medicine at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital, she completed her neurology training at NYP/Columbia University. She served as Chief Resident of the Neurology Department at Columbia University from 2016-2017. Her research interests include tumor markers in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) as well as clinical trials.

Care Philosophy: I am a medical oncologist who specializes in cancers of the lung and thymus. I work closely with our multidisciplinary team of expert thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, palliative care/pain management specialists, and nutritionists to provide comprehensive care for our patients. Dr. Samstein is the Surgical Director of the Living Donor Liver Transplant Program at NYP. Care Philosophy: It is a privilege to take care of patients with breast cancer. Each patient is different, each breast cancer is different and treatment recommendations are tailored to the individual patient. At the Weill Cornell Breast Center, we work as a team to recommend the optimal treatment plan for each patient. We have begun a new initiative, a "survivorship" program to study and support our patients throughout their lifetime after a breast cancer diagnosis. It is exciting to be in the forefront of breast cancer research not only with our own group at the Breast Center but also as part of the exciting research going on across the nation. Additionally, she is the Director of Quality and Patient Safety and serves as the Chair of the Oncology Quality and Patient Safety Committee.Dr. Garcia received her undergraduate B.S. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her M.P.H. from University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to medical school, Dr. Garcia worked for the County of San Diego Health and Human Services and University of California San Diego. Biography: Dr. Salvatore Caruana is the Director of the Division of Head and Neck Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center. He is a widely respected head and neck surgeon in the forefront of the surgical treatment of tumors of the mouth pharynx, larynx and sinuses, parathyroid surgery, thyroid gland, and salivary glands. He is a pioneer in laser microsurgery for pharyngeal and laryngeal cancers. Dr. Caruana is an Associate Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Caruana graduated cum laude from the University of Buffalo and completed his Doctor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. At the end of every visit, I want people to know that I have taken the time to develop the plan that is the best for them. I am fortunate to work in a center where cancer care specialists can work along side experts in every field of medicine to care for the whole person. We are working every day to develop better treatments and integrate them into clinical practice. We have been involved in the development of virtually every drug approved for treatment of lymphoma over the past 15 years, including targeted therapies and immunotherapy. Biography: Dr. Cora Sternberg is a leading international researcher and world expert in the field of medical oncology, genitourinary (GU) cancers, and drug development. As a key opinion leader in three different types of genitourinary cancers, Dr. Sternberg isknown for her influential work in developing novel therapies and targeted agents for the treatment of prostate, renal and bladder cancers.Dr. Sternberg helped develop the original M-VAC chemotherapy regimen, as well as the double-dose/high-dose/accelerated-dose M-VAC chemotherapy regimens in bladder and urothelial cancers. These treatments are the gold standard, saving many lives and decreasing suffering in patientswith these diseases.Additionally, Dr. Sternberg has served as principal investigator or been involved in numerous practice-changing studies for prostate cancer. These research efforts have led to the FDA approvals of abiraterone acetate and enzalutamide in advanced prostate cancer. AsClinical Director of the Englander Institute for Precision Medicine (EIPM), Dr. Sternberg will develop strategies to incorporate genomic sequencing and precision medicine throughout the Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian healthcare network, including Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Biography: Dr. Feldman is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology of the Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Feldman grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, completed Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, where she completed the Clinician Educator Track, fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Boston Medical Center/Boston University School of Medicine, and an additional fellowship in Cardio-Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. After training, she founded and directed the Cardio-Oncology and Cardiac Amyloidosis programs at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School/University Hospital. In 2023, she joined the Cardiology Division at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College as a full-time faculty member where she provides expertise in cardio-oncology, cardiac imaging, and medical education. She serves as the Director of the Cardio-Oncology program.Dr. Feldman is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardio-Oncology. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the American Heart Association, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the International Society of Cardio-Oncology.

Biography: Dr. Barbara T. Ma, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Ma graduated with B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College. She completed her internal medicine training at Georgetown University Hospital and fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, where she also served as a chief fellow. Dr. Ma cares for patients with skin cancers, including melanoma. Her research focus is optimizing immunotherapy treatments for solid tumor patients with special interest on immunotherapy toxicities. She heads the Phase I unit and leads Cellular Therapy for Solid Tumors at Cornell. Dr. Ma is a recipient of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Conquer Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award. She is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), Golden Humanism Honor Society (GHHS), and Society for Immunotherapy and Translational Research in Cancer.
