I am always well received, listened to, allowed to ask questions, and given the necessary explanation. I am cared for the way I expect.

Dr. Sternberg is a doctor who both knows how to treat your illness and still treat you as a person. Although she is very busy, she is never rushed. She is clear, answer all questions and listens carefully.

Horrific bedside manner. Not engaged, out of touch, seems uncaring. I was expecting much better on all fronts given all of the accolades and degrees she has.

Horrific bedside manner, insensitive to 9/11 health program members, insensitive and unwilling to even shake hands of patient. Honestly, over my 68 years of seeing many doctors who have treated me for my seizure and other 9/11 related issues, she is hands down worse doctor I have ever known. Wow!!

Dr. Sternberg was highly recommended by an oncological surgeon I have used and respect enormously. Her credentials are excellent. She has received good reviews here. Therefore I was shocked at her lack of compassion and lack of respectful answers about options I want to consider for an incurable cancer, given my age and multiple medical conditions that make life difficult. She never provided me a chance to discuss my thinking about end of life. I did not feel like I was treated as a human being. Were it not for her excellent nurse practitioner, we would have changed immediately to another doctor in the practice or changed hospitals.

Dr. Sternberg spent an extended period of time with my wife and me explaining the effects of the hormones I was to take and what I should look out for. Made us comfortable with the treatment moving forward

She spent as much time as I wanted with me - verified the correct timing of procedures being performed in other departments, researching and verifying intended protocols are being followed, and confirming next steps in treatment.
