Dr. Ocean has cared for me for nearly three years. Her expertise and compassion are unparalleled.

I feel so blessed to have had Dr. Ocean as my oncologist for the past 4 years. She takes time at every appointment to answer questions and listen to my concerns. She is always a calming influence during tumultuous times! I obviously trust her medical opinions and treatment, which are most important, but Dr. Ocean and her entire team are very responsive and so easy to work with.

Dr. Ocean takes time to explain patient's diagnosis, treatment plans and next steps. She answers all of your questions. She holds your hand and offers the utmost compassionate and empathetic care. She sets a tone with her staff and leads by example. Her staff are always responsive, thorough, caring and all around personable. I have never met a doctor more committed to her patients. God forbid you need a GI medical oncologist. And if you do, I highly recommend Dr. Ocean. I am very grateful for her.

Dr. Ocean seems to care about her own business more than her patients. All the visits were less than 5 minutes and she didn’t even show up sometimes. My family members were not able to speak to her about my condition when I was in the ICU. I would not recommend Dr. Ocean. All the bad reviews on google were deleted.

It hard to sort out my complicated health care journey; lots of peeks and valleys. With a better understanding and a willingness to keep fighting the cancer that is sometimes more stubborn than me. I will be very honest in declaring I would not have evolved as a better person without the gentle yet persistent care ? from Dr Allyson Ocean. I still have more to do, eternally grateful that Weill Cornell and Dr Ocean, the nurses and staff were there to help me.
