Care Philosophy: Gregory Duff, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder surgery andsports medicine. His surgical interests include themanagement of the unstable knee, shoulder andelbow in the competitive athlete. He performsarthroscopic reconstructive surgery on all major joints. _x000D_ Dr. Duff works with an extended team of athletictrainers, physical therapists, physician assistants andoffice staff optimizing care specific to the unique needsof the individual athlete. Care Philosophy: Erin Moyer, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Moyer began her orthopedic practice as an active duty surgeon in the United States Navy, serving the sailors and marines of Camp Lejeune, both stateside and in combat while deployed to Afghanistan. She has specialty interests in trauma, sports medicine and all facets of general orthopedics. _x000D_ Dr. Moyer first became interested in the field of orthopedics, and sports injuries specifically, as an all-state Virginia high school basketball standout and a varsity basketball athlete at Johns Hopkins University. Her undergraduate studies in biomedical engineering further fueled her desire to pursue orthopedics as a career. _x000D_ In her off-hours, Dr. Moyer enjoys spending time with her son, playing piano, recreational basketball, golf, snowboarding and traveling. _x000D_

Biography: Jacob Mathew, MD is a fellowship trained, board-certified hematologist/oncologist who believes we are born with essential dignity and his goal is to preserve that dignity, at times using his medical knowledge and at other times just being there for his fellow man. Dr. Mathew believes that the practice of medicine should be evidence-based while simultaneously incorporating the art of medicine. To him, the art of medicine means he needs to be the advocate for his patients. He also hopes to empower his patients to play a pivotal role in their medical care and decision making by teaching them at least the basics of their disease.

Care Philosophy: Joshua Shatsky, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon whose primary focus is spinal pathology, including degenerative cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine pathology, adult spinal deformity, spine tumor, and cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine trauma. _x000D_ Dr. Shatsky completed one of the most competitive orthopedic traumatology fellowships in the country at Harborview Medical Center and followed that with an intensive interdisciplinary orthopedic and neurosurgical spine fellowship at Harborview Medical Center/University of Washington. Combining the two orthopedic disciplines has given him a unique perspective and skills, allowing him to address many challenging spinal and traumatic pathologies. _x000D_ Dr. Shatsky is a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS), a candidate member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) and a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
