Biography: Dr. Erika Van Doorn is a board certified General and Critical Care Surgeon. She?comes to us from Texas after living there for 14 years.??She completed her general surgery residency and Surgical Critical care fellowship in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine. After her training, she worked at several facilities in Texas with Envision but her primary site of work was at Medical city Plano, in Plano Texas (Level 1 trauma center). ?In 2019 she moved to Florida where has worked at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. Since 2013, she has been busy working in level 1 and level 2 trauma centers as trauma, acute care and surgical critical care surgeon.??She also worked closely with the trauma director and coordinators to help with the level 1 designation at Medical City Plano.?In September of 2020 she took the role of trauma Medical Director at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital where she was able to stabilize the program and successfully passed American College of Medicine level 2 consultative visit.

Biography: Dr. Huang is a fellowship-trained abdominal organ transplant surgeon. and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He earned his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO and completed his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Huang then went on to complete a fellowship with the LifeLink Transplant Institute in Tampa. He currently serves as the surgical director of renal transplantation for Tampa General Medical Group and is the vice chief of general surgery at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Huang also holds an affiliate assistant professor appointment from the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, department of surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, basketball, violin and photography. Dr. Huang is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Spanish and French.
