Care Philosophy: I believe in whole person healthcare. I also believe in respecting patient autonomy. Patient's should be provided information about their condition, treatment options, risks and benefits and then should be encouraged to make their own decisions about their healthcare as much as is possible.

Care Philosophy: Our primary focus is to address the total health care needs of the patient within the constraints of the healthcare system that we work!

Care Philosophy: I believe that the role of the modern physician is to provide the best advice to the patient to make an informed decision on their care. The patient should know the real risks/benefits of screenings, medications, and other treatments to make their own decision on what they would like to do. I think we get there by listening to the patient tell their story as over 80% of the time the problem is not detected by all of our blood testing and technologies but by having the patient explain their symptoms. I enjoy taking care of patients with more complex medical issues and being the ``Captain`` of their ship interpreting and prioritizing what their specialist physicians may be saying. The other important part of my practice is teaching young physicians and medical students how to practice the art and science of medicine.
