He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency and an orthopedic surgery trauma fellowship at University of Virginia. In addition, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Virginia.Dr. Fashandi is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has specialized training in orthopedic surgeries for traumatic injuries and joint replacements. He provides comprehensive management of fractures of acute and chronic injuries for adults and children including pelvic and acetabular fractures as well as pathology involving soft tissue and infection. In addition, he provides general orthopedic care. When not caring for patients, Dr. Fashandi enjoys cooking, wood working, exercise, and spending time with his two young daughters.

He went on to earn his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1986. Dr. Bradshaw also completed his internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He has been a partner in the practice now known as James River Internists since 1989 and over the years, has enjoyed practicing medicine the old fashioned way, giving adequate time and attention to all of his patients.Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Bradshaw and his wife stay extremely busy with their four children and are also active members of their church.
