Dr. Mawusi has provided treatment over the past for my foot pain where other well revered doctors have not been able to remedy my issue chalking it up to an 'enigma' with no know real solution. Dr Mawusi's exceptional skills and professionalism coupled with his wonderful bedside manner, make for comfortable and easy interactions and understanding. I highly recommend him.

He is very informative. He explains everything so the patient can understand.

Dr Mawusi is patient and he listens to your problems and concerns. I had been having extreme pain in feet and ankles Dr Mawusi stated he would not lie to me, that giving me a shot in my foot and ankle would hurt. I did not feel a thing he is the best podiatrist in Hampton roads. I been with him for several years and I will remain with him until he retires. If you’re looking for the best look no further. You will not be disappointed!!!

Dr. Mawusi is a very patient doctor that encourages any and all questions. He has performed 2 surgeries for me and both have been great experiences with minimal discomfort afterwards. Would definitely recommend him to address your foot needs.

The office staff is very helpful, & knowledgeable. They listen to my concerns. Dr. Mawusi was GREAT! He listened to my concerns and provided me with answers and options to fix my issue. I have been having feet pain for 3 to 4 months and I walked away with a plan that will hopefully resolve my issues. I am very confident that Dr. Mawusi and his team will work with me to resolve my problems with my feet.

I was told by 4 other foot doctors that they couldn't fix my pain in my foot. They said that with out ever touching me. But, not Dr. Mawusi he told me he would do everything in his power to help release me from my pain. Today I can say I'm pain free and beyond happy with my progress. Thanks Doc!!!

I'm so thankful I was referred to Dr. Mawusi, the pain I was having in my foot was to the point; that I was ready for surgery. He was very knowledgeable of where the pain was coming from and by following his treatment plan 30 days later, I'm pain-free. No, surgery was needed. His office staff is friendly, wait times were short, my appointment wasn't rushed, he listened and answered all of my questions. Feeling thankful!!

Dr. Mawusi is a outstanding doctor. I have known him for well over 20 years. I have been to him as well as my mother. I have referred numerous friends and family to him over the years. He is a fine podiatrist with alot of experience. His bedside manner is wonderful. He takes his time and explains things in a easy format. He is very genuine and truly a nice and compassionate person. I know of at least one person who would have lost there foot if it were not for his skill and experience as a surgeon to save it. Dr. Mawusi is a one of a kind person and doctor. If you got a serious foot problem do not hesitate to contact him. You will be very pleased with the level of care he will give you.

I have gone to Dr. Mawusi twice in six years for minor foot surgeries he was initially referred to me by my neice and not only were both of my surgeries very sucessful but Dr.Mawusi is very very good,professional,patient,personable easy to talk to.He takes time to answer any questions you may have and you don,t feel rush, just the overall experience with him and his staff is always very comforting and pleasant,I highly recommend him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to make an emergency appointment for my ankle. I was able to get the date and time I wanted. To my surprise, I got there early and was seen early and was taken care of!!!!

Feb of 2018, Dr. Mawusi placed a Cartiva implant in my left great toe. The outcome was AMAZING!! I am now able to do something that I have not been able to do for the prior 3.5 years....wear my high heels and boots again. I will be forever indebted to Dr. Mawusi.

Im a young woman, who needs a little foot help. Called a competitor for a same day, new patient appt, and they scheduled me for wrong day. Called Dr. Mawusi's office, and was told that he had an opening. Waited for a 2 couple of hours, but when I tell y'all it is worth the wait...feet are no easy feat. Be patient, he and the staff are polite, professional and respectful. I will tell everyone!!

I visited Dr Mawusi years ago and I have not stopped telling people about him. I had a heel spur and I decided to check this doctor out and I was really pleased. This doctor is professional, personable and most importantly a very very good podiatrist. Dr Mawusi didn't make me feel like a number as some doctors do. He really took his time to make sure I understood what I needed to do to get better ( heel spur). When ever someone needs a podiatrist I always recommend Dr Mawusi !!!!
