Dr. Dancea earned her medical degree from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emergency University Hospital in Bucharest, Romania and her internal medicine residency at Norwalk Hospital, in Norwalk, Connecticut. Dr. Dancea did her fellowship in rheumatology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Salem and returned with his family in 1991 to practice orthopedics. Dr. Waldrop's medical training began at the University of Virginia, followed by orthopedic training at Emory University in Atlanta. To further his knowledge in orthopedics, Dr. Waldrop participated in a fellowship in shoulder/sports medicine at the University of Miami. Dr. Waldrop also maintains the honor of being a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Waldrop chose to focus his practice on orthopedics because it gives him the ability to treat patients of all ages and life stages.
