Explains Things Well
Dr. Kasmer takes the time to listen to patients and explain his diagnoses. He's knowledgeable and patient. I've never had to wait longer than a few minutes to see him. I feel very confident under his care and would readily recommend him to family and friends.

Late as heck
Waiting over an hour for him to do a 5 minute injection procedure. Shouldn't have scheduled so many appointments so close together if he couldn't handle it in a timely manner.

Professional, Knowledgeable and Personable
Dr. Kasmar provided some of the best customer service I have ever received at Carilion Orthopedics. He took time and care to explain what he saw to me, connect on a personable level, as well as help train a medical student. Would recommend!

Dr. Kasmer is simply awesome! Not only does he have a great personality and bedside manner, he takes time to explain your condition and options. He has never hesitated to answer (in detail) any questions I have had. You can tell a lot about a doctor by observing his interaction with staff. It is obvious his entire team enjoys working with him. He has a unique ability to foster a comfortable, yet highly professional environment. I highly recommend Dr. Kasmer for any injection needs.

Very pleased with Dr Kasmer. He took the time to come up with a plan to help me with my arthritic knees and explained things carefully, thoroughly and his demeanor was empathic and calm. The entire experience from check in, X-ray , nurse practitioner interview to check out was efficient and pleasant. I spent two hours there and only 15 minutes was spent waiting, the rest of the time was face to face with Dr Kasmer and staff! A very pleasant surprise as I am used to the opposite. I will definitely return in 6 weeks for follow up without any stress and anxiety , knowing I will have a pleasant experience! Yeah 5 stars all around from someone who avoids going to the doctor!
