Dr. Sorina Dancea, MD

This doctor will take over your medication and completely ignore the current dose that you want are on and lower the dosage so it doesn’t help you at all and when you try to get back to the same dosage that you were on before seeing her with your other doctor She doesn’t answer any single call or any message and cancels all prescription orders that go into your pharmacy this has been an utter nightmare and she hasn’t answered for over three weeks on my prescription

Dr. Dancea does not listen; does cursory exam (and makes a point of squeezing the painful joints like you weren't already in enough pain); wants to use cortisone shots or steroids as a quick solution without looking for a long-term plan; tries to force you into care that either won't work or is too expensive; will not work with you to get care that you need; office staff is incompetent and doesn't assist with anything. This practice is more interested in getting a high number of patients through for the insurance money than they are with caring about a patient. The only good thing there is the phlebotomist who is super good at her job.

I was there for a my check up. She was very rude today. Did not allow me to speak. When I tried she cut me off. Had no time to hear what her paying patient had to say about their condition. Looking for a new rheumatologist after this visit. Completely unprofessional!

She is very thorough and takes all the time needed to answer questions.

We discuss any problems that I have had since my last appointment with her, and we discuss the best options for my condition. She has always allowed my opinion to be considered when discussing my RA. She has such a calming manner, and I feel fortunate to have her as my physician.

Dr Dancea is a wonderful Dr. and a caring person. Just what you want when you suffer from the chronic pain of autoimmune disorders. Precautions were in place due to the coronavirus, I felt safe. All personnel were safely equipped , including the Dr. As usual, it was a short wait and a timely visit. No hurries involved.

My visit consisted of checking on a concern I had. Dr. Dancea and her nurse were both very friendly and made my visit very comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Dancea.

Very Good. The doctor spends time with the patient and takes time to explain what is going on and the avenue we will be going down to combat the problem.

Dr Dancea listens carefully to what I say and doesn’t hurry me. She carefully tests to be sure prescribed drugs are not hurting my liver or other body parts. She treats me a senior with respect.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sorina Dancea since August 2017. I was in excruciating pain which was significantly diminishing my quality of life and was jeopardizing my ability to continue to live independently. Dr. Dancea was able to prescribe the tests which enabled her to give me a definitive diagnosis with treatment that could help restore me to a good quality of life and allow me to continue to live independently with dignity. Dr. Dancea is attentive to my medical needs, is very knowledgeable, and is compassionate, as are the clinical and administrative staff. I highly recommend Dr. Dancea for anyone who requires medical care for arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr.Dancea is an outstanding doctor. She explains things in a manner that you can understand and answers all of your questions. You do not feel like you are being rushed through the appointment.
