Biography: Dr. George Aguiar was drawn to the field of orthopaedics out of a desire to help improve and change the lives of patients with acute and chronic injuries. Intrigued by the constant challenge to stay abreast of the latest technologies and procedures within the orthopaedic specialty, Dr. Aguiar enjoys interacting daily with patients and using his surgical skills to improve patient disabilities. Dr. Aguiar has tailored his practice to include primarily sports medicine and adult knee and shoulder reconstruction. With extensive experience in total hip and knee replacements, Dr. Aguiar's special interests also include arthroscopic shoulder instability repair, ankle arthroscopy, and total knee replacements.

Biography: Dr. Bradley Boyd, DO is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist who practices in Fairfax, VA. He is 45 years old and has been practicing for 18 years. Dr. Bradley Boyd, DO is affiliated with Reston Hospital Center.

Biography: Finding great satisfaction in watching someone recover from an injury and return to living, Dr. David Novak chose the field of orthopaedic surgery because he wanted to have a direct impact on the quality of life of his patients. After earning a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Novak received his medical degree from Georgetown University where he was named a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society. He remained in Washington, DC, at Georgetown University Medical Center to complete a residency in orthopaedic surgery. He then completed advanced fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California. Dr. Novak worked intensively with some of the best sports and arthroscopic surgeons in the country during his fellowship training and today is able to perform advanced arthroscopic techniques for a number of orthopaedic problems. His special interests include sports medicine and sports injuries, complex problems of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic shoulder stabilization for loose or dislocating shoulder, ACL and ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage restoration of the knee, and adult joint reconstruction.

He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Howard University Hospital and went on to a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the University of Pennsylvania.
