Dr. Fox believes in taking the time necessary to help patients and their families understand the options, both surgical and nonsurgical, that exist for any orthopaedic condition. Biography: Dr. John C. Pearce is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, serving residents from Austin, Texas at the Austin Bone and Joint Clinic. Dr. Pearce's provides services including general orthopedics, sports medicine, as well as shoulder, elbow, hand, and lower extremity reconstruction. Dr. Pearce completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He went on to serve his residency in orthopedic surgery at Bexar County Hospital. Dr. Pearce then completed a fellowship in lower extremity reconstruction and sports medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Pearce is recognized by Austin Monthly Magazine as one of Austin's Best Doctors in 2002, 2004, 2007, and 2009. He was also recognized as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor between 2005 and 2009. His dedication to providing his patients with diligent and individualized care is widely recognized by his peers and patients alike.
