Great hand surgeon
Easy to work with. Carpal tunnel surgery was a breeze and recovery was even better. Highly recommend.

Where do I start with Dr Mundanthanam?
I'm met Dr. Mundanthanam when I was 12.At the time we were searching for a specialist to take care of my sister's deformity that we both share. He was one if the not only in Austin, Texas and San Marcus, but very few doctors that specialize in our deformity.Dr. Mundanthanam welcome us with a sweet caring smile and has continued to take care of my family through surgeries from 2012 Doing my sisters ulnar shortening surgeryTo doing both of my surgeries bilateral The end of 2022 and just recently 2024.Dr Mundanthanam It's always gonna forever be my go to for anything There has to do with my Arms for as long as he continues to practice. If that is not convincing enough, let me tell you about his character. He is a smart, intelligent and compassionate person. He connects with his clients on a very empathetic level as well. He's also a comic in my opinion. He is my go to suggestion for anybody that I know that has a wrist or hand issue, and I will continue to spread his name until the end

Elbow surgery
Dr Mundanthanam and his team provided me with the absolute best care for my elbow surgery. I had fractured my elbow into a number of small pieces, but he was able to put it all back together in a way that provided me with almost full extension. I really appreciated his care, explanation and of course expertise. He had an approachable confidence that put me at ease. I highly recommend him if you are ever in need of his specialization.

Highly recommend and why...
I can’t say enough positive things about Dr Mundanthanam so much so that when I had a second hand injury, thumb this time, I chose him. You might think well, it was easier for you because he was already on your insurance, no my insurance had changed! My appointments were always informative. xrays were taken in his office, he had them while seeing me! The X-ray technician was great, kind, made me feel relaxed, not awkward especially important since I have a tremor in my hand. Dr M is of the ‘old breed’ not that he is old, or that would matter, he takes his time with his patients. I was not rushed through like a cattle call. He explained things in medical terms and in ways to help me understand. I am blessed that both my hand injuries healed beautifully thanks to his knowledge, care and direction he gave me. The staff is very friendly, profession & kind. They even called me when they had a cancelation! I never had to wait more than a few when I arrive on time.

Am in the medical field both clinically and administratively. This office is a model medical practice. Cannot say enough good about Dr and his staff. Very personable, professional, efficient and top notch. Not a “doc-in-the box”.

I was referred to Dr Mundanthanam after having MRI done on my hand. I was told his office wont see me because my injury is due to an auto accident. They do not do 3rd party billing, and I clearly understand that, but they could file through my insurance and they would totally get paid.....I haven't had any trouble at all with any appointments until now! Very disappointed with this office. I am totally reaching out to TDI agency.

Dr. Mundanthanam performed carpal tunnel release, cubital tunnel release and trigger finger release on on my husband and carpal tunnel release on myself. Both of us had been in pain for years and are now symptom free. A pain free recovery and back to normal activities in 2 weeks. A great surgeon and a very nice person.

Dr. Mundanthanam's kind demeanor and genuine interest in you as a patient makes him stand out from many others. He was always friendly, had a good sense of humour and explained my options in a frank manner. When I brought my friend who is a retired nurse, he treated her respectfully and was more than happy to talk shop. I appreciate the pro-active post-surgical treatment that left nothing to chance. I did not need it but it was good to know that certain meds were available if I did. Aces!

I broke my wrist in January. It was a very complicated fracture and I needed to see a specialist. Praise God I was referred to Dr Mundanthanam. He is the finest surgeon Ive ever been to. And I've had a lot of surgeries. I was not wanting to voluntarily have another surgery, but without any pressure, he explained the pros and cons of having the metal plate put in my wrist. He took away all my doubt and concerns and answered all my questions. I am forever grateful for his kind and expert care!

Dr. Mandanthanam may be the most personable, professional, doctor I've ever seen. Friendly, helpful staff. Ahead of schedule, efficient, kind, thoughtful, he took plenty of time to to ask questions and listen to replies. Being treated by Dr. Mundanthanam was a rare experience ( a VERY positive one) in our current healthcare environment. This was truly an exceptional medical experience.

Broke my thumb in a stupid wedding accident in mid-May. Dr. M was great. Saw me right away. Surgery was scheduled quick and I'm already back to good health. I've had two other hand surgeries in the past (10 and 11 years ago) and this was by far the best overall experience I have had. Can't say enough

Dr. Mundanthanam did a great job fixing my wrist after a fall off my roof left me with a torn ligament and other damage. Being a firefighter, I was concerned about the length of time I would be off. Dr. Mundanthanam explained exactly what needed to be done and what to expect. He answered all questions and made sure I was comfortable with our course of action. Dr. Mundanthanam performed a flawless surgery and I was able to return to work in just over 2 months. Very happy with my experience.
