Very pleasant experience
Dr Amis and his staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dr Amis removed the whole arm splint and it was replaced with a smaller cast. It was all painless and I am very happy with the outcome.

Very Poor Recovery, Much Longterm Pain
Dr. Amis operated on me 103123.Sent me home from hospital with prescription for 2 pills for pain. Thats 2 tablets. My pain was quite severe for 8 months, and he never called me once. I called him begging for help. A lotion for pain When I asked for it he said he didn't know of anything, and that if I could find something and look it up. He would prescribe it. How can a surgeon not know what to give his patient for pain. It is now 16 months later, and my fingers are still tingling and not right. I suffered with quite severe pain with nothing to relieve it for over 6 months? And the pain didn't subside, for even longer than that. Never a concern for me. Never once a call to see how I was doing, how I was recovering no concern for my suffering. Even with my multiple calls to his office and multiple emails to him. I am posting this to hopefully save others from suffering from having an ultrasonic surgery done by Dr Benjamin Amis for Corporal tunnel surgery. My fingers still curling up.

Consistently Excellent
As always, Dr. Amis evaluated my situation, discussed it thoroughly with me, and presented different courses of action. He’s assertive without over-treating and I always leave with a clear plan and clear understanding. Great orthopedist.

Carpel tunnel release procedure
The staff at the surgical center as well as Dr. Amis did a great job. Everything about the procedure was explained thoroughly. Of course my favorite Dr in the room was the Anesthesiologist, she was awesome.

The Way Medical Care should be
I received several reminders about appointment. Check in was brief, hardly any paperwork to sign. I was seen very quickly and the Doctor greeted me with a handshake, which is not too common in the medical field these days. Treatment options and questions were discussed completely and then I was treated. Check out was again very fast. It reminded me of the quality of care at the Steadman Clinic.

Outstanding treatment
Dr. Amis recently surgically removed a cyst from one of my fingers at Pinnacle Surgery Center. His treatment was exceptional. He and his staff took care of me in a highly professional manner. He and his team explained the procedures pre and postoperatively very well and I never felt rushed. Good surgical skills, good bedside manners, good knowledge of the surgical procedure.

Dr. Amis is a gem
Dr. Amis will not push surgery unless you need it. So many surgeons are focused on revenue. Dr. Amis works in a small practice rather than a huge medical corporation. He is all about what's best for the patient. His staff are kind and competent. I'm extremely glad someone referred me to Dr. Amis.

Rotator cuff repair and bicep tendon attachment
Dr. Amis is straight to the point and honest. Very good bedside manner. He listens. He will not do a surgery if it is not necessary. He lets you know upfront what the recovery will be and he was exactly correct. No surprises, and no problems with the surgery besides the usual pain that follows. I would recommend him 100 times again and then some.
