Biography: Cheryl Moss-Mellman, M.D., is the director of clinical breast services at the Christine E. Lynn Women's Health & Wellness Institute in Boca Raton, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Moss-Mellman specializes in breast cancer risk assessments, genetic counseling and testing, breast biopsy consultations, general breast health, breast cancer prevention and high-risk management. She also leads the Institute's Moving Forward Clinic for breast cancer survivors. There, she performs thorough evaluations, reviews each patient's health history, provides personalized surveillance plans and works with patients to manage psychosocial issues and long-term treatment side effects. Dr. Moss-Mellman joined the Lynn Women's Health and Wellness Institute from Diamond Personalized Healthcare, where she was an internal medicine concierge physician. She currently serves on the faculty of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine and American College of Physicians. An internist by training, Dr. Moss-Mellman takes a whole-person approach to patient care. She is committed to developing a connection and good communication with each woman she treats. Biography: George Guerrero, D.O., MPH, is a primary care physician with Baptist Health Primary Care. He specializes in the management of acute and chronic medical conditions as well as preventive healthcare. His clinical interests include the management of hypertension and diabetes, as these common conditions can contribute to poor health outcomes when not appropriately managed.Dr. Guerrero earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a masters degree in public health at Florida International University. His medical training includes an internal medicine residency at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians Florida Chapter.To improve the health of his patients, Dr. Guerrero serves as an advisor and educator and includes his patients in the decision-making process. This patient-physician relationship ensures his patients agree with the healthcare plan and will follow the recommendations. He believes patients are most invested in their health when they are empowered to actively participate in their care.Dr. Guerrero is fluent in English and Spanish. Biography: Sara Iskandar, D.O., is a primary care physician at Baptist Health. She is fluent in English and Arabic and speaks conversational Spanish.Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Iskandar served as a primary care physician at Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches. In this role, she helped patients by performing wellness exams, transitional care visits, womens exams and telehealth visits. Dr. Iskandar earned her osteopathic medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed an internal medicine residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center.She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association.In her role as a primary care physician, Dr. Iskandar believes strongly that patients should make informed decisions about their healthcare.
