I've been a patient of Dr. Moshe Hirth for a while and although he's not the type to hold your hand during and after a procedure, he's good enough. His staff is another matter :( They can be 'robotic, non-caring, and outright rude'!!! I've chosen to no longer be a patient of Dr. Hirth and have subsequently found a Doctor who's not only 'very professional but nice too'~

Limited exposure to Dr. Hirth in my pre and post colonoscopy visits. He seems knowledgeable but a bit dry. Appointments were pretty much on time and quick. For me it was fine as I had no questions or complications.

Dr. Hirth is a fine physician. Thorough too. We were discussing my low ferritin levels and he suggested there might be bleeding somewhere and the only way to find it is to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy to view the upper gastrointestinal tract, and later on swallowing a pill with a camera in it to view the small intestines.

Nasty Office Staff
I have been a patient of Dr. Hirth for the past 7.5 years and was very satisfied with his medical skills, talents and communication abilities. In the past two years he expanded his practice to include a brand new facility and surgical center. This when things started going down hill. The new office staff is disrespectful and right down nasty. He’s become less accessible, not as detailed as he used to be, takes less time with his patients and there are consistent scheduling issues, lack of communication, reassignment of procedures with lesser qualified doctors without prior notice. Recently I was scheduled for an endoscopy, no one contacted me with a time for my procedure, a non-medical board doctor was assigned to me without my consent and this doctor had a medical degree (5 year bachelor of medicine) from Pakistan and no other credentials to perform my procedure. Obviously I declined. This was handled very unprofessional and no one would respond to my multiple phone calls!

What could be improved
  • I didn't feel respected
  • Difficult to schedule appointment
  • Didn't listen or answer questions
  • Staff wasn't friendly
  • Appointment was rushed
