Biography: Madiha Kamal, MD, MBBS, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with LewisGale Physicians in Christiansburg, Virginia. She is affiliated with LewisGale Hospital Montgomery where she serves as a core faculty member for the Internal Medicine Residency program. As an attending physician of an academic medicine clinic at LewisGale Physicians, she supervises resident physicians, training them to be the next generation of physician leaders, since July 2013.Dr. Kamal earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Aga Khan University Medical College, in Karachi, Pakistan, followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine from Saint Barnabas Medical Center, in Livingston, New Jersey.She was the recipient of the Frist Humanitarian Award in 2018 by LewisGale Hospital Montgomery and has also been recognized as the Teacher of the Year 2018-2019 by the Department of Graduate Medical Education.Dr. Kamal offers primary care services specializing in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of diseases in patients 18 and older.
