Dr. Jones is a blessing
I just had a procedure done, and today was probably the best experience I’ve ever had in terms of care. Not only is Dr. Jones attentive and thorough in his care, he is so empathetic towards the pain his patients can be experiencing after or before a procedure. I had problems with my procedure where my anesthetic wore off too soon and caused my body to move during. His nurses let me know what had happened and why I was experiencing severe pain when I came to. I was given and prescribed pain relief medication and eventually was able to settle down enough to go home. The time while I was experiencing an anxiety episode and crying from the pain, Dr. Jones stood by me and held my hand until I calmed down. He has never disappointed me in terms of my care, I am so glad I chose him to be my pain management provider.

Horrible office, uncaring people
Dr Jones has a horrible bed side manner. Does not speak to his patients after any procedure. Office, him and his NP never return calls. This is the most uncaring place I have ever been. No help with controlling my pain. I just get brushed off. I call to ask questions about medication side effects and its been a week and I still dont have any answers. They were supposed to order an MRI. Its been several months and still no updates. Do not trust the care (lack there of) from anyone in this place. Every time I get an IV they bruise me. This is the only place I have been that bruises me like this. I am leaving this practice and never looking back. I will take my care to someone and someplace that has the compassion with chronic pain.

Attitude - Long wait times in Exam Room
I am not new to the pain center. First time seeing this doctor at the West Phoenix location. I was in the exam room for an hour past my original appointment time. I opened the door to get some air in there. Dr. Jones leaned his head in and he told me “if you come to the West Thomas clinic there is going to be a wait. If you want appointments on time you will need to go to another location. If you want to reschedule go ahead”. That said it all about this doctor. This was a terrible experience. I am not sure why this man was telling me the above with attitude when he was the one behind schedule by at least an hour and saying all this to me prior to going to the patient before me.

Poor SCS Results
I had a Nervo Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) installed in March of 2021 to address chronic lower back pain. The SCS was implanted by Ramoun Jones. The SCS worked fairly well for about one year. Thereafter, I experienced decreasing pain relief and finally, receiving no relief from the Nervo SCS on any setting, I turned it off. I was required to get an MRI to diagnose my continuing back problems. Doctor review of the MRI shows that there has been significant movement in the electrodes that were implanted to relieve my pain. No wonder the device failed to provide pain relief. I am working with another medical group to have the Nevro SCS removed and another device implanted. This requires another invasive surgery and all the associated hassles and dangers. My experience should speak for itself.

I’d been seeing dr Jones for over 5 yrs. I have issues with inner costal nerve pain & lower back pain. During one of many inner costal injections he punctured my lung (never gave me injection there again). I still continued seeing him. Noticed as time went by dr Jones would have you put under sedation before he came into give injection. This way he didn’t have to speak with his patients. Last time I was there was 11/18. Finding someone who will talk to his patients ‘every’ visit, not just the first one.

After being there over 2 years 2 weeks before I was scheduled to get a pain pump I was told there was a problem with my drug test I said thats not true and asked to be retested but was told no it takes 2-3 weeks! I did everything by the books I didnt even get medicine from my regular Dr without getting an ok from the clinic. I don't drink or smoke so why in 2 years would I now have an issue? He should of looked at my test with his own eyes it showed 0.5 everything else is 100's or 1000's so come on think about somethings wrong but I guess he has no brain to figure that out. The test states on the bottom that test isnt even approved by the food&drug administration so how liable is it???? Stay away unless you want to be blamed for doing something wrong when you've done everything RIGHT!

Unless you have a few hours to waste being treated like a criminal and asked invasive, irrelevant questions about sexual abuse and your religious beliefs by ignorant rude staff and phyaicians...AVOID Dr Jones like the plague! Going to physical therapy shouldn't be a humiliating criminal investigation, especially when you're NOT ASKING FOR MEDS.

for my first appointment I waited over an hour in the exam room before the doctor came in. He then spent about 10 minutes with me and told me they would contact me with the appointment time. Yesterday I went to the surgery center on Thomas in Phoenix. Once I was taken back I waited over two hours before they took me in for the procedure. Time waiting both times is totally unsatisfactory.
