Dr. Michael Castillo, MD

Years back I used Dr. Castillo and I would highly recommended him! He was a fantastic doctor. He helped me with pain management before my neck surgery. Returning to him now for other problems he has left his office with his staff in charge. They are absolutely horrible! He is allowing the staff to give the shots, and they don’t know what they’re doing. The staff is ruining this doctors practice. When I finally got to see the doctor, he did the right thing and ordered the MRIs yet they would not read the MRIs in order to give me the shots in the appropriate spots . Horrible practice and very untrustworthy. The staff was rude and dismissive. I went back to see my surgeon who explained all of my MRIs to me and sent me to another specialist who helped me tremendously. I do not recommend this practice anymore. It is such a shame because this doctor is a kind man, but his staff is absolutely horrible and Dr. Castillo needs to retire now if he doesn’t want to run his practice appropriately.

My husband went in for his first treatment, He was told by the Dr. he could go back to work. Which his work required him to lift heavy parts. The Dr would not sign a release for him not to go back to work until the treatments were finished. My husband decided not to go back to the Dr. He also took a Disk with MRI and X-rays with him that was made at Banner hospital.When I called to cancell his next appointment I ask for the disk back and was told they did not have it, said that they gave it back to him. Which I went with him and he did not receive the disk back, which means we need to go back to Banner hospital to get another copy. Not happy about all this.

He is the one person who has saved my life! He listens, understands and he gives you the help you need.

Dr Castillo is the most caring and understanding doctor I have ever met. He truly cares about all his patients. He is honest and sincere. You are treated as family.

My husband was with Dr Castillo for 10 yrs and Dr Castillo was great with my husband and his head nurse Kathy was my husband nurse 14yrs they are amazing

I was referred by my physician and heard great things about Dr. Castillo. I have been a pain patient for 5 years desiring to change to a new physician. I was not able to get past the initial receptionist who intimated that I was just looking for pills because I told her I couldn't for medical reasons have back injections. She basically told me to go elsewhere as you have to have back injections if you go to Dr. Castillo. I would have liked to have discussed my medical chart with the Doctor.

Dr Castillo and his staff were very professional, knew about my conditions from my reports, explained my condition to me. Dr Castillo explained the alternative therapies for my pain.

Dr.Castillo is the best. I have referred several people to him. I trust him completely. His office is peaceful. The office staff are all outstanding.
