After graduating from Georgia Institute of Technology, she earned her medical degree in 2000 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Gentry remained in Augusta to complete her residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship, where she was selected to serve as both chief medical resident and chief cardiology fellow.In 2007, she became an assistant professor of medicine and the medical director for both the Women's Cardiovascular Disease program and the Cardiac Rehabilitation program at the Medical College of Georgia. Her special interests include cardiac imaging, women and heart disease, and heart disease during pregnancy.Dr. Gentry joined Wellstar in October 2010 and is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
