Excellent cardiologist
Dr. Robinson was my mother's cardiologist. She is the most thorough, caring, doctor who exhausts every means for her patients. She takes a lot of time with her patients and takes the time to explain things well. My mother's life was extended by the kind of care she received from Dr. Robinson because she was meticulous with her strategies. She lives what she preaches about healthcare. Even ER Nurses that have worked with her at Emory and at Wellstar will state, "We have to take care of you because Dr. Robinson doesn't play when it comes to her patients." I cannot tell you how many times that was stated in cath labs and ER's. Yes, as others have stated the wait time can be a bit long but it is because she spends a lot of time and does not rush appointments.

2/3 appointments with her I had to wait greater than 2.5 hours past my appointment time (plus my being early by 15-20 minutes), for appointments that lasted about 15 minutes. My blood tubes clotted TWICE and I was charged for tests that didn't work, and she implied that I have something wrong with my blood, though she didn't know what or who to talk to about it. Of course when I googled it, the blood likely clotted because the nurse messed up and the doctor didn't want to take responsibility.

Although the wait time (in the lobby) to see Dr. Robinson is excessively long, I admit her thoroughness & genuine concern goes a long way. I've been her patient since 2001. My brother & my father are patients of hers too. She's really good and very pleasant. Real easy to talk to or ask questions. However, I'd like it if she'd spend a bit more than 3 1/2 minutes in the exam room with me seeing how I just sat in the lobby 1 hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time...waiting to see the doctor

I saw Dr Robinson recently and spent over 4 hours taking a battery of heart tests including numerous pictures of my heart. When Dr Robinson came in to see me the first thing she said to me was that I had a blockage and she wanted to put in a stent via my groin. She never told me where the blockage was, nor showed me any of the pictures or test results. I refused and am looking for another cardiologist that will give me details of my condition and explain the necessaty for surgey and why.
