He earned his medical degree from Universidad Central Del Este Dominican Republic in 1987 and completed his internship at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in 1990. Dr. Guzman completed his residency at Grace Hospital in 1993 and his fellowship at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in 1996.
