Dr. Karan Munuswamy, MD

I arrived a half an hour before my appointment time, and left an hour later after watching patient upon patient get called in before me. Absolute waste of my time with no explanation whatsoever.

I saw Dr Munuswamy about 6 years ago and I must say that my comments were the exact same comments as the one on top with a horrible experience. That was my first experience and my last! No patient should be treated like that. Patient 000

Why this doctor receives all these positive reviews eludes me. The Dr. Munuswamy I saw was cold, dismissive, arrogant, and completely lacking in any empathy. He walked into the exam room and barely acknowledged my presence, immediately sitting down and reviewing my chart on a laptop without saying anything to me. His first task was to complete the forms in the electronic record – not to get to know me at all. With his eyes firmly fixed on the laptop he asked me several questions in a curt, robotic manner. During my visit it was clear he was annoyed whenever I asked a question – and at one point he admonished me for constantly interrupting him! I had not interrupted him – I was just asking questions which he obviously found unacceptable. At another point he told me, staring at me coldly, said “you are incredibly misinformed about [my medical condition]” – a condition I’ve had for over five years. He made it very clear he does not want to be questioned or have ANY dialogue with me.

I highly recommend Dr. Munuswamy. He listens and reads everything. He prescribes the right combination of medication to control your disease. He is a gifted physician and his staff is friendly. Appointments are easy and the office wait time is very reasonable.

Dr. Munaswamy actually LISTENS to your concerns as part of your medical issues and helps find a viable treatment and solution. He answers all questions honestly and meets the patient where they are in the healing process to move them to health and wellbeing. Shows a lot of respect for his patients and his profession.

I had a series of heart related testing over four appts in less than three weeks which was great ! I didn’t want to be waiting weeks over a subject like possible heart problems ! I already had severe chloresterol detected rating that I was taking drastic measures for related to possible heart concerns

Dr. Munuswamy is kind, responsive and compassionate. He is the first doc to tell me in detail how to take my blood pressure at home. Apparently you can't just sit down, anytime, and expect to get an accurate reading. I trust him and I thank him very much for being there for me Linda B

He was very thorough and explained everything in detail about all my concerns. I felt very comfortable with him. When I left his office, I felt so much more comfortable about my heart health.

Felt uncomfortable, Doctor staying in the open door frame and talking about my condition. Other remarks are not trust building, more on the rude side. Bad bed side manors; should improve. Would like to switch to another doctor. Were I can speak, ask question and leave satisfied.
