This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Richard Crank, DO, is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon caring for patients in Largo, Florida. Growing up on a farm, Dr. Crank learned the importance of hard work and dedication to family and career. This catapulted his desire to seek a career in Orthopedics. After, Dr. Crank completed medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, he also completed an Orthopedic surgery residency at Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, Florida and an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship at Orlando Health, in Orlando, Florida. After his fellowship, Dr. Crank practiced in Warrensburg, Missouri caring for the military families of Whiteman Air Force Base and the surrounding community. He was given an opportunity to return to Florida and practiced for eight years in Polk County and while there, he became the tertiary referral physician for complex hip and knee issues as well as complex Orthopedic trauma issues. Dr. Crank transitioned to Largo to build a practice and care for the community as well as be an integral part of the Orthopedic Residency at Largo. He specializes in Robotic and minimally invasive hip and knee surgery, as well as rapid recovery and outpatient joint replacement surgery. Dr. Crank also has a passion for complex hip and knee reconstruction and revision arthroplasty. Dr. Crank is on the Board of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, is the Chair of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) committee for the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and a Board examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. During his career, Dr. Crank has instructed many medical students, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, residents, and physicians for Orthopedic education. Dr. Crank is devoted to his family and loves cooking and fishing with them and cheering his kids on at their sporting events.

Dr. John N. Harker, DO is an Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Harker completed his medical school training at Nova Southeastern University, followed by his residency at Michigan State University. Dr. Harker completed his internship at Michigan Capital Medical.As an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Harker treats conditions and performs procedures related to Orthopedic Medicine, including: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Surgery, Injury, Fractures, Arthritis, Trauma, Elbow and Shoulder Surgery, Wrist and Knee Arthroscopy, Hip Replacements, and Hand and Joint Surgery. Dr. Harker is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Harker's primary office is located at Clearwater Orthopedic Sports Medicine in Largo, Florida.
