Very good communication and response
Dr. Bansal saw me in ER after a trimilleolar fracture of my ankle. He explained to me exactly what needed to be done and all of the possible complications. I felt like I understood everything that needed to be accomplished. After my initial surgery, I had a follow up at his office two days later. I was scheduled promptly and when I came in, the staff immediately took me back and got me seen. All of the staff in the office were very attentive, very in communication and explained everything I would need to know. The next day I had a question and I called the office and left a message for Cassie, his nurse. Cassie returned my call and spent 15 minutes on the phone with me explaining everything and more about my upcoming procedure ,medications and things I would need to know. She was extremely helpful and I am so appreciative. My surgery is in two days and I’m very confident that Dr. Bansal knows exactly what he’s doing and his staff are very prepared to take care of me post op.

Back office staff is HORRIBLE. No post-op follow-up. No pain management involvement. Placed 10 unanswered calls to nurse Kathy re overdue pain control prescription. No coordination of care post-op. I don’t know if he even KNOWS what goes on in his office! I was just discharged 1/18/22 for a second surgery (repair of shattered Fibula, dislocated and fractured ankle after my 1/7/22 accident, I have no knowledge yet of my surgical outcomes.

The back office is horrible. I broke my dorsal radial (wrist). I made an appointment and it took me 7 days to get in after it was broken due to the holidays. Once I got in, he saw me with a resident for about 4-5 minutes and said I needed a cat-scan and likey would need surgery. My insurance requires a pre-authorization form sent in by the doctor to do the cat scan. Dr.Bansals nurse, Cassie, said the radiology provider is supposed to send in the request and the radiology provider says the ordering doctor should send it in thus delaying the cat scan. Its been a week. I can't get anyone in the office to answer the phone, was on hold 20 minutes and cant reach Dr Bansal's nurse afterung leaving a couple messages. Meanwhile, my wrist is becoming more painful. If you can't run the back office efficiently, patients are at risk.If you are too busy to accept new patients, don't accept them. If this Doctor treated Covid, I would be leniant, but he doesn't.

I was seen by doctor bansal in an emergency. The ER confirmed a break in my wrist and leg. Dr Bansal was very professional. He explained everything to me so I understood. He was very caring. This meant a lot being a lobe because of limited visitation due to covid policy. He did surgery and made sure pt and ot worked with me so that I could go home. He ordered me a special walker and home health. I feel blessed to have Dr Bansal as my orthopaedic surgeon. I have no doubt I am in the best hands. Thank you Dr Bansal for everything you have done for me.

Run. Just run. I love the office staff and Dr. Bansal has a wonderful personality but since he did a total right knee replacement on 1-23-2019, he literally ruined my life. I was scheduled for a revision (by another dr) for March 31st 2020 but had to cancel due to the Coronavirus. I will never step foot into that practice again and I suggest you find another surgeon. He literally ruined my life. I will update this if I discover it was a product failure but I had that looked into and have been assured it isn't. Just find someone else for your ortho surgery in my humble opinion.

Well, I thought he might be a good doctor, until I heard from a third party that he doesn't believe a word I say about my own body. Since my car accident in January I haven't been able to work in my business, which involves much standing and walking (real estate). Apparently, he thinks I'm lying about that. And he also keeps telling me my hip injuries weren't really from my car accident., just arthritis. (Sudden onset arthritis, with massive swelling? Yeah.) The steel frame of my Jeep Grand Cherokee was bent two inches. But, that had nothing to do with it??? So, while he might be a good surgeon, I cannot trust him. Calling patients liars isn't a way to build trust. And if you ARE going to call me a liar, I prefer you do it to my face. Very disappointed.

I would highly recommend Dr Bansal for any orthopedic care. He is compassionate, caring and gifted. He also is something that is not seen very often now a days , empathetic and kind! His office staff is outstanding as well. I have an elderly mother who has required surgical intervention on 2 occasions. Dr Bansal did what was said couldn't be done. She has the use of her limbs and I thank him his diligent care!

Dr Bansal is very busy, he did my knee surgery. I didn't receive a post op follow up call, when I had a reaction to the pain medication, I called to get pain meds and was treated like I was asking for illicit drugs. I then developed Bursitis in the knee, called the doctor numerous times starting at lunch, left numerous messages, only to receive a return phone call after the doctor had left for the day. I was told by Gail to go to Urgent Care. This is the worst experience of my life. Unacceptable

I found Dr Basal to be personable, professional, and trustworthy with the end result his patients to recover fully. Confidence and trust is necessary, and with that was very impressed with his work and timeline to have procedures done with a full understanding of the outcome. I highly recommend this talented Doctor to anyone who needs surgery or advice. One of the finest health professionals I have met.
