Horrible
This guy operated on my wife in Largo right after she had a failed kidney transplant. Never came back to see her. Never followed up on physical therapy. Lied to me saying my very sick wife refused physical therapy in the hospital. Just pathetic

Couldn’t have been happier…
In April 2016, Dr. Crank performed a hip replacement on me. I liked him from the beginning until the end of that journey. I had no complaints whatsoever. It’s 2022 and now I’m having problems with the other hip. I wish he was still in Lakeland. I would be happy to allow him to do surgery on me again. What most impressed me was how calm he made me feel while waiting to go into the OR. I cried on the way to the hospital since I knew recovery would be intensive for the next 6 weeks. The hip pain was immediately gone when I awoke in recovery.

I had a total right hip replacement in 2014. It hurt every single day! This man saved my life on April 2, 2014! It was soar the next day, but all the pain that I had was gone! I did all the therapy and the entire team. At Dr. Cranks office , at the hospital, and rehab ,were all amazing! If you have ANY doubts, let them go! This doc, in my opinion, is a lifesaver! Thank you seems so small as I run around with my 8 grandkids! Not only did he relieve my pain, I stopped smoking....thanks to him...I stuck with that.

Had to have my knee looked at. He went in and reviewed 5 year old xrays instead of waiting for the fresh MRI results. He had already diagnosed a torn meniscus but then said it was my hip. Gave me a knee brace anyway. He's absolutely horrid and ready to get out the door before you even speak.

Dr. Crank was amazing. I had a small bump on my knee that was extremely painful. I figured it would be dismissed. Dr. Crank evaluated and considered it a possible neuroma. He was caring prior to surgery, and after.

I have gone to Dr Crank twice now about two issues. He spent time to explain everything to me. There was no rush for him to leave the room and he gave me plenty of time to me to tell him what I was feeling. I never met a more capable caring doctor. You feel better just knowing he is taking care of you.I would recommend this dr to anyone

Based images taken at my primary care doctor's office, and a diagnosis of 'severe arthritis' in my right knee, my visit with Dr. Crank Jr. was so that he could more detail about my initial diagnosis, and to advise on a prescribed course of treatment. The entire experience from check-in to check-out was excellently well done by all of the staff, each person that I encountered provided a high level of courtesy and professionalism. As for Dr. Crank Jr. and his PA Jeb, both were very thorough in explaining every detail of my images, and in laying out the various options for treating my issue. Neither seemed rushed and were very patient when answering my questions. I feel really good about the care that I'll receive going forward, and would very much recommend Dr. Crank Jr. and his team.

Dr. Crank saw my son when he had a fractured arm. He made an appointment to see my son much quicker than anyone in Lakeland. In fact, he had successfully diagnosed and treated my son nearly two weeks before the dr referred by my pediatrician even called! Dr.Crank explained the injury to us, gave us complete and understandable instructions for treatment and was helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend his expertise to anyone.

Was thoroughly impressed with everyone at Lakeland Regional, Grasslands office. I first met with Dr Crank's physician assistant who took a complete medical history. That took a good 20-30 minutes. Then I met Dr Crank who went over my knee x-rays and my medical history and established a plan of action. The entire visit took 90 minutes. I am very satisfied with his professionalism and his expertise. So glad I found this doctor.
