Biography: Dr. Roger A. Walker is a Board-Eligible Orthopedic surgeon. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) College of Engineering. He was a member of the Varsity FAU baseball team and was selected in the Major League baseball draft. While practicing as a professional engineer, he obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from FAU. He then pursued his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University. His orthopedic surgery training was performed at the level one trauma center, Broward Health Medical Center, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He continued his training at Orlando Health Medical Center, completing a fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery Sports Medicine. Dr. Walker specializes in shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee injuries. Taking a holistic approach to the patient, the goal of his practice is to develop a targeted patient-specific treatment plan for their injury. He promotes patient education and understanding of their injury and rehabilitation. A targeted non-operative plan gets most patients back to health. However, some patients require additional interventions. He is fellowship-trained in orthopedic surgery sports medicine, utilizing minimally invasive arthroscopic surgical procedures. These procedures implement advanced techniques to preserve cartilage, reconstruct ligaments, and repair tendons to preserve native joint longevity and performance. Biography: Seif Elbualy, M.D., is the director of interventional pain management at Baptist Health's Marcus Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Elbualy specializes in interventional pain management, particularly for spine-related pain and failed back surgery syndrome. Dr. Elbualy joined the Marcus Neuroscience Institute from the Comprehensive Center for Pain Management at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, where he served as director. He is currently an affiliate assistant professor at the Charles A. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. He has more than 25 years of experience utilizing medication management and interventional pain therapy. He performs all fluoroscopically guided epidural and selective nerve root blocks, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, and radiofrequency denervation. He has additional expertise in spinal cord stimulation, DRG stimulation and intrathecal pump implantation. Dr. Elbualy's goal is to help patients regain as much function as possible to improve their quality of life. He appreciates spending time with and getting to know his patients. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Elbualy enjoys spending time with his family and participating in medical mission trips to Haiti each year.
