Biography: Telehealth visits are available.Dr. Patrick Simon is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree at University of Wisconsin and received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He completed residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. He is Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. His interest in orthopedic surgery began during medical school when he rotated through different areas of medicine. During an emergency medicine rotation he was able to observe orthopedic surgeons take care of trauma patients with serious injuries. It was then that he decided to pursue a career in orthopedics.Dr. Simon enjoys the ability to take patients with injuries or chronic pain and make their lives better. A patient with painful arthritis in the knee can often return to a normal, pain-free life after knee replacement surgery. Those are the type of things that makes him like orthopedics. Dr. Simon says "Seeing happy patients come back over the years is very satisfying as an orthopedic surgeon. It's a fulfilling profession".Dr. Simon takes a slightly more conservative approach to patient care. He prefers to provide surgical and nonsurgical options for his patients by going through all the available options and determining the best approach for each individual person. Dr. Simon's goal is to help his patients achieve pain-free activities as much as possible by finding either surgical or nonsurgical treatment options
