Biography: I decided to become an obstetrician-gynecologist because I like the multifaceted aspect of the specialty. Being an ob-gyn has given me the opportunity to provide preventive care for women, perform surgery and deliver babies. I enjoy working with my patients who are generally very motivated to participate in their own care. My special interests include treating abnormal bleeding and fibroids. I specialize in da Vinci robotic surgery and other minimally invasive treatments and work closely with my patients to help them understand their options. Outside of my practice, I enjoy travel and usually travel outside the country several times a year. I also enjoy skiing and bike riding. I am a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

Biography: I am a doctor with board certification in obstetrics and gynecology from both India and the United States. I have also completed a research fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility through the University of Minnesota. I have always worked in large academic centers and keep up with the latest in the OB-GYN literature. I love delivering babies and have extensive experience in vaginal breech deliveries and, when indicated, vacuum and forceps deliveries. I am passionate about my work and feel it is a privilege to help women. I use an individualized, comprehensive approach toward the management of the problems women face throughout their lives. My preference is to evaluate and treat my patients in the office setting when possible. In addition to seeing patients, I am also involved in education. I have an adjunct faculty appointment at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where I am an assistant professor, and I am also Regions Hospital residency site director in OB-GYN. My special interests include, Minimally invasive surgery in the office and same-day surgery using new, innovative techniques to diagnose and treat incontinence, pelvic relaxation, abnormal bleeding and abnormal pap smears, as well as surgical procedures such as transvaginal and transobturator tape. The complete range of hormonal contraception and solutions to sexual concerns in pre- and postmenopausal women. International women's health with special emphasis on female circumcision reversals. Evaluation and treatment of women with infertility. I am also an expert in menopausal medicine and hormone replacement therapy. Minimally invasive hysterectomies: laparoscopic, laparoscopic-assisted, single port, vaginal and abdominal routes individualized surgeries based on the problem being treated. I also do complex abdominal surgeries, myomectomies for infertility, sacrocolpopexies for prolapse, Burch colposuspensions and the repair of prolapse, cystocele and rectocele. I also perform laparoscopic surgeries for endometriosis, pelvic pain and ectopic pregnancies.

Biography: I chose a career in OB-GYN because I am passionate about women's health and the range of care this field can provide to patients. From in office primary care, to the acuity of the operating room and labor and delivery floor, I feel fulfilled in this career each day. I enjoy educating women on their medical and surgical options, offering in office procedures, surgical management and both routine and high-risk obstetrics. It is a privilege to support women in this vulnerable but incredibly important field of medicine.

Biography: I enjoy providing care for patients during some of the most personal parts of their lives. I work to develop relationships and deep connections that help provide the best treatment for patients throughout their reproductive health. Whether it's helping my patients through pregnancy or navigating changes with menopause, I want to be there.
