Did not appreciate
Dr. Merid made me feel like a biology experiment. I’m happy to be educated but I didn’t appreciate the cold demeanor or constant repetitive nature of the diagnosis in a particularly sensitive situation, especially when I explained that to start. She also didn’t introduce herself or ask my name upon entering the room. It just all felt more prescriptive than human.

Dr. Merid is smart, cool, intuitive, kind, and patient. Going to an Ob/Gyn is a nightmare for me. After 14 years of avoiding a check up, I visited Dr. Merid and felt okay from the start. I had a basic exam and further testing, and learned I needed a hysterectomy. Quite a big-time surprise I'd say. Post-hysterectomy and follow up exam, I feel at peace with my body, as it needed serious medical attention. Thank you Dr. Merid--you're quite a gem!

Dr. Merid is special. Sharp, attentive, caring, thorough and thoughtful. She is honest and her integrity is obvious. Without going into details, I had to shop around for the right doctor/OB and I never expected someone as trustworthy and wonderful as Dr.Ruth Merid.

Dr. Merid removed a very large uterine fibroid that I had for many years. It was a very difficult procedure, but she was able to complete it and respected my decisions about what organs I wanted to keep. I felt back to normal after a few days. She is also very personable and easy to talk to. I recommend her highly.

I spent a long time looking for a doctor I could trust and felt comfortable with. I was so thankful to find Dr. Merid. She is bright, honest, open minded and treated me like an individual.
