Biography: Andrew Chambers, MD is a board certified andfellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacementsurgery. He received extensive training in joint replacement surgery during hisfellowship at Harvard Medical School / Massachusetts General Hospital, whichwas voted as the top hospital in the United States. Dr. Chambers has a specialinterest in MAKOplasty Robotic assisted knee and hip replacement surgery andhas performed several thousand joint replacements during his career.The MAKOplastyprocedure is changing the way joint replacement surgeries are performed byproviding each patient with a personalized surgical experience based on theirspecific diagnosis and unique anatomy using CT-based 3D modeling. The roboticarm technology allows for extremely precise placement of hip/knee replacementcomponents with potentially less soft tissue injury than traditional jointreplacement.Dr. Chambers hasimplemented the techniques learned at Harvard Medical School into his ownpractice and offers minimally invasive total hip / knee / shoulder replacement,partial knee replacement, revision surgery for malfunctioning, loose, andinfected joint replacements, and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, andshoulder.
