Biography: Dr. Taskin joined Digestive Health Associates (now UM Shore Medical Group-Gastroenterology) in November 2000. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University. He is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed a residency and internship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh. Biography: Hamza Merza Abdulla, MD, joined Shore Medical Group-Gastroenterology in July 2020, after completing a gastrointestinal and hepatology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Tex., and previously, a fellowship in motility and neurogastroenterology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Abdulla earned both his M.D. and B.S. degrees from Arabian Gulf University School of Medicine in Bahrain. He served as a clinical intern at Salmaniya Medical Complex in Bahrain and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. In addition to his clinical experience, Abdulla completed research training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.; the Medical College of Wisconsin; and the Medical College of Georgia. He has published widely in the field of gastroenterology.

Biography: Matthew Troshinsky, MD, joined University of Maryland Medical System in 1999. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree at George Washington University and is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine. Following graduation, he completed both his Internal Medicine residency and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Troshinsky is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
