Biography: Dr. John Paek specializes in surgical weight loss procedures including gastric sleeve and gastric bypass. He also specializes in the surgical management of acid reflux and heartburn, as well as general surgery. Dr. Paek is capable of doing weight loss, foregut, and general surgeries in both laparoscopic and robotic. Dr. Paek was born in Minneapolis, MN and lived in South Korea from age 2 to 12. He moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, and lived there until graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan University with his bachelor's degree. He completed his doctorate degree at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado. He also completed his general surgery residency at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
