Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits.Dr. Jessica Ridgley received her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She continued her training with an Internal Medicine Residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. After residency, she did a fellowship at Berkshire Medical Center for Neuromuscular Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and NMM/OMM.Prior to medical school, Dr. Ridgley received a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the United States Naval Academy. She completed six years of military service after graduating from the Naval Academy as a Surface Warfare Officer specializing in communication, navigation and surface tactics. During her shore duty, she decided to learn about manual medicine by completing a massage degree and became a licensed massage therapist during medical school.Dr. Ridgley's passion in medicine is utilizing nutrition and manual therapies to improve overall health and wellbeing. Prior to working at Lone Tree Internal Medicine, Dr. Ridgley worked as a hospitalist, admitting and managing patients in acute need for chronic illnesses. She utilized manual therapies in the hospital setting to facilitate the other medical therapies. Working in a clinic based practice, she enjoys partnering with patients to improve their health through a holistic approach and increasing patients' quality of life. Dr. Ridgley believes strongly in educating patients and utilizing a hands on approach to improve health. When not in the clinic, Dr. Ridgley enjoys spending time with her family. She can be found hiking and skiing most weekends and enjoys traveling, reading about self-improvement and nutrition and experimenting with practical side of food in the kitchen.
