Dr. Garza specializes in general laparoscopic procedures and diseases of the breast. She truly enjoys performing laparoscopic Nissen procedures for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) as well as spleen and thyroid procedures. Dr. Garza loves reading mystery and crime novels, dogs, and spending time with friends and family.

Care Philosophy: I am interested in helping people understand nutrition and helping them lose weight to live a healthier and happier life. I am board certified in both surgical and medical weight management and have been Medical Director for bariatric surgery at Houston Methodist, Memorial Herman Memorial city, and Mission Hospital in Asheville. I have now returned to Houston and will be practicing out of Houston Methodist West and directing the Metabolic Center.
