We took my dad to St. Francis ER and Dr. Zagzag saved his life. My dad needed emergency surgery and Dr. Zagzag came right away and explained what needed to be done. He is incredible. He is patient and cares about his patients. He called every day my dad was in the hospital to let us know first thing in the morning how he was doing before we arrived. I am so grateful to him.

Dr. Zagzag is a great surgeon! He is patient and responsive. I had so many questions and he sat with me and allowed me to ask all of them. He has a modest and gentle way about him. I had never had a major surgery before meeting with him, and I felt very comfortable going into surgery knowing he’d be the one performing it. I ended up having to have two surgeries because the pathology report showed something that could not be seen during surgery. I have been complimented on how small and straight my scar is and how perfectly he went back in and over the same little spot. It’s been a little over a year since my first surgery with him, and he seems genuinely happy to see me doing well. He is a kind and skilled surgeon, and I would highly recommend him.

I went to St Francis emergency room with sudden onset of nausea and abdominal pain. I was diagnosed with an intestinal obstruction and needed emergency surgery. I was fortunate to have Dr Zagzag as my surgeon. It was the first time I met him. He was most professional, extremely knowledge and compassionate. Dr.Zagzag did my thyroid lobectomy. Before the surgery he explained everything that was being done in a very clear manner. I found him to be very sensitive, informative and professional. How do you thank someone for saving your life? That is exactly what Dr. Zagzag did for me. On June 28th he performed surgery removing more than one third of my small intestines and performed an ileostomy. Later, the ileostomy was reversed. Dr. Zagzag was constantly monitoring my progress. He was consistently positive always encouraging and reassuring. He is a smart, humble surgeon and a beyond caring human being.

I met Dr Zagzag after a visit to the ER at St Francis. I required an emergency appendectomy. He was so kind from the minute he came to introduce myself. I have never met a Dr. with a nicer bedside manner. He explained everything to me and made sure I was at ease. A few days later I called his office when I wasn't feeling well. He called me back, then called again to check on me a few hours later. Cannot say enough good things.

Dr. Zagzag operated on me for an emergency. Promptly after my admission he gave me immediate relief and explained my situation and why surgery was required. Both before and after the three hour surgery he explained what was happening, answered fully all my questions and kept me fully informed.
