In 2005, Dr. Plaza, her husband and seven children relocated to the U.S. She completed her internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago and went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando. Throughout her education, Dr. Plaza was given the opportunity to treat a broad range of patients with different backgrounds and gynecological conditions. During her residency she received extensive training in minimally invasive gynecologic robotic and laparoscopic procedures in addition to outstanding obstetrical training. Her fluency in Spanish and French allows her to connect with patients from Hispanic and Haitian communities here in Palm Beach County. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
