Biography: Dr. Eric Gourley joined Colorado Urology in September 2020 after completing his surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio TX. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, KS. Prior to medical school, Dr. Gourley was a practicing pharmacist from 2010 through 2015 in Lebo and Wichita, KS and Nashville, TN. He completed his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in Lawrence, KS, and his pharmacy practice residency at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in Nashville, TN. Dr. Gourley's research experience covers studies related to radical vs. partial nephrectomy in renal cell carcinoma, robot-assisted laparoscopic radical cystectomy, renal angiosarcoma, undescended testicle complicated by torsion and several pharmaceutical studies. In 2018, Dr. Gourley received the UTHSCSA Resident Endoscopic Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement and performance in endoscopy. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the Texas Urological Association, the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.

Biography: Dr. Lauren May joined Midtown OBGYN in 2014 after completing her medical school and residency training at the University of Colorado.She received her undergraduate degrees in Molecular Biology and Creative Writing from Lehigh University. Dr. Mayis Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.She has alsoserved as a volunteer physicianin Peru, Tanzania,and the Dominican Republic. In their free time, she and her husband enjoy hiking, skiing, playing soccer, andspending time with family, friends, their two young children and their two dogs.

Biography: Emily Prouse M.D., a native of North Carolina, graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a degree in Environmental Studies. She went on to receive a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke, focusing her research on children's environmental health. Dr. Prouse realized her true passion was medicine and that she enjoyed working directly with people to effect change on a more personal level. She attended the University of North Carolina School of Medicine where she graduated with honors in 2011. At that time she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. She went on to compete her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington in Seattle, receiving recognition for her teaching abilities. Dr. Prouse considers it an incredible privilege to be a physician. She believes that women's health is the foundation of strong, healthy families and is dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care to all women. She prides herself in the ability to form lasting, collaborative relationships with patients and assist them in making informed, healthy decisions about their care. Outside of work, Dr. Prouse enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and three children. She is proud to call Colorado home and finds joy in exploring new wilderness areas, ski slopes, and biking trails. A self-proclaimed foodie, she loves gardening, bringing her harvest to the table, and sharing meals with families and friends.

Biography: Dr. Sarah Takimoto is a Colorado native. She attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate degree and received her medical degree from Creighton University. She completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, and joined Midtown OB/GYN in 2018. Dr. Takimoto's interests in OB/GYN include maternal safety and postpartum care, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, and teaching residents. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, cooking and discovering new restaurants. She is married with a young son and is bilingual in Spanish.
