Biography: A love of science, and wanting to use it to help others drew David Miner, MD, to the field of medicine. He chose obstetrics and gynecology because it allows him to get to know patients as people and to develop relationships over time. He believes relationships like these improve patient care. He strives to listen to his patients' concerns and find the best treatment for them. He particularly enjoys minimally invasive surgery options, so his patients can benefit from shorter recovery times and can get back to their lives as quickly as possible. Dr. Miner and his wife have five children and love going to parks or on hikes. In his free time, he likes to stay active or take some time to relax by reading or cooking.

Biography: While many doctors' love of science launch their careers, Laura Ramsay, MD, FACOG followed her passion for arts to her career in medicine. She had a career in classical ballet with the Kirov Ballet in Russia and after experiencing sports medicine from a patient's perspective she discovered an opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. She has a passion for all of women's health but is particularly interested in adolescent health, eating disorders, exercise in pregnancy and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Ramsay is married to her husband David, a gastroenterologist. They enjoy being outside, taking trips to the mountains or the beach with their son and daughter. In her free time she enjoys doing yoga, Pilates and dancing.
