Dr. Elizabeth Barwick, DO

I scheduled a New Patient appointment with Dr. Barwick almost 2 months in advance. I confirmed it the week of the appointment. When I arrived, they said that while I WAS on the schedule and had an appointment, it was in the “wrong slot” so Dr. Barwick refused to see me. This was after taking the afternoon off work and driving nearly an hour round trip to be seen. The “best they could do” was reschedule me FOUR MONTHS later. Absolutely disappointing and unprofessional.

This was the first time I met with Dr. Barwick for my yearly and she listened to me and what concerns I had. I thought the appointment went well other than being seen 45-50 minutes after my appointment time but I understand that due to covid.

Dr.Barwick talks to you like you are a kindergartner and is not willing to be open-minded to different ideas even if her own biased and deeply-entrenched ones clash with a patient’s wishes. Pregnancy is a very sensitive time, and not a time to be stuck with a doctor who does not listen to or advocate for an individual’s needs and wishes. She does not have a warm manner at all like my old ob/gyn, who is sadly not delivering babies anymore, and instead gives off a negative know-it-all/holier-than-thou vibe. I noticed in my chart that she stated I didn’t want to wait to see her at one of my appointments, but I was actually waiting for some time (with an uncomfortable mask on, no less) before anyone approached to say she had to run out of the office for an emergency—understandable, but annoying and poor patient care. At any rate, I would not recommend this doctor unless you enjoy feeling unimportant and like a child. Her office was also pretty terrible with returning phone calls.

Dr Barwick has a great bedside manner. She took her time and explained everything to me. I really felt like she was listening to what I had to say.

She was horrible from start to finish with my care throughout our pregnancy. The birth of my first baby she couldnt be bothered to be in the room for more than 5 mins. She prolonged my labor 8hrs and then gave me a c-section. Now my baby is suffering in the nicu from a very traumatic birth having seizures and could possibly suffer for the rest of his life.

First off let me say I could be dying and she’s the last dr I would want to treat me. I went in for an allergic reaction to a medication she was flat to lazy to even look in to. She wanted to give me a med containing something I am highly allergic to and send me home after. I questioned what was in it. For over 30 hours I had been in excruciating pain and still am. Her lack of knowledge of my med I was reacting to didn’t even match what the manufacturer of the medication states. The nurse was great and knew we needed to run labs, but no miss I want to play god dr didn’t. While screaming in pain and I said I would do anything for some Relief she told me how she didn’t have to give me anything. I ended up walking out without my paperwork because she horrible. She also told me to stop following the instructions Dr Harding Gave me to try to help the reaction. Now I am stuck suffering until I see him and the correct labs can be drawn and to right Course of medication can be done

She is a patient, kind, compassionate and caring physician. She goes above and beyond for her patients and is a joy to work with. She delivered my third child and I wish she would have been able to deliver all of my children. I still see her for my preventative health screenings and I always look forward to our visits.

She was amazing and so kind will definitely choose her again

She delivered my 3rd child and it was a great experience from start to finish. If I ever have another child I will be sure to have her be my doctor. Thanks for being kind and patient with your clients!

I've never been treated so poorly by a physician in my life. Would never recommend her to anyone and immediately changed providers.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE DR BARWICK! She was my ob/gyn and delivered my second daughter and made the experience great! She has been my gyn since then and I can truly say I will be sad if she ever leaves the area and I am unable to see her anymore! She is an amazing woman that truly cares about her patients and their families!

She is wonderful!

She was rude to me and my husband. She walked out of my room, ripped my papers up and stormed off. Horrible attitude, horrible bedside manners, just a HORRIBLE doctor in general. I DO NOT recommend her AT ALL.

I heard her making fun of patients after they left the office, and have recently found out that she was making fun of my family after our last appointment.
