Biography: Brian Vial is a fellowship-trained hand, wrist, and upper extremity surgeon specializing in operative and non-operative treatment of fractures from the hand to the shoulder, nerve entrapment such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, peripheral nerve injuries, tendon injuries, rotator cuff tears, and arthritis of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. He also received a certification in clinical densitometry from the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. Due to his interest in bone health, he focused his research during fellowship on osteoporosis in patients with a history of breast cancer at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
