Dr. Piefer is the Best!!
My case was forwarded to Dr. Piefer by an associate doctor in the group when complications that developed following surgery did not respond to treatment. Dr. Piefer immediately performed additional necessary surgery and successfully established the procedures needed for healing. Not only did he find the answers to a complicated problem, but showed his caring heart by making several hospital visits, even checking on me just before he left on his family vacation. I can’t say enough about Dr. Piefer!! He is the Best!! Highly knowledgeable, extremely caring, excellent & understandable explanations, a wonderful person!! I am forever grateful to Dr. Piefer!!

I recently had knee injections done in 3 series a week apart. Besides Dr. Piefer's competency and efficiency, I was very impressed with his bedside manner; Dr. Piefer lets you know each step of the process before and as occurs which is very helpful in dealing with one's anxiety. I am very happy with the results and back to full mobility without any pain or tenderness. Would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Piefer. Very pleased with both his personal approach, and the medical staff of Woodlands Sports Medicine, as all are very patient oriented!

Dr. Piefer took care of my first rotator cuff tear and we're now considering what to do about the other shoulder's rotator cuff tear. He was very hands on with the whole process for the other arm---first visit, surgery visit, after surgery visits and therapy.

I would recommend Dr. Piefer and his staff every day of the year. He has treated me for approximately 6 years. He saved my knees for 5 years and then I bit the bullet and had my first total knee replacement. Best thing I ever did! About to have the second one with no fear at all. His staff is the most accommodating and friendliest of all my doctors. I trust Dr Piefer completely and recommend him every chance I get. Great bed side manner!
