Biography: Dr. Liesl Bredeson, formerly Dr. Liesl Smith, has been a practicing OBGYN in Dallas since 2000. After graduating from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, she completed her residency at Methodist Medical Center. Dr. Bredeson was drawn to the practice of OB/GYN for the opportunity to develop relationships with her patients, providing care across the stages of their lives. She enjoys the full spectrum of the specialty, from family planning and obstetrics to well-woman care, laparoscopic surgery, and menopause. She has been recognized as a Mom-Approved OB/GYN by the readers of DFWChild Magazine, a Health Care Hero by the Dallas Business Journal for her work on the Premiere Perinatal Safety Committee, and ranks in the 99th percentile of patient satisfaction nationally.Dr. Bredeson has three children, one in the Denver area and two still at home. Biography: Dr. Shannon McCants grew up in Kansas City, and then came to Texas for all of her schooling. She received her bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then went across the DFW metroplex to the University of Texas Southwestern for Medical School. She then began her career at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas as a resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology. After she graduated from residency, she joined Women's Health Alliance.Dr. McCants is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has many awards under her belt from medical school and residency. She is a member of AMA, TMA and Dallas County Medical Society. Dr. McCants is passionate about her job. She loves to walk with women through life from their teen years all the way through menopause. She is knowledgeable in family planning, from infertility to routine birth control, all the way to permanent sterilization. She is confident in caring for women with pregnancies from low risk to high risk.Dr. McCants is highly trained in minimally invasive surgeries using the DiVinci robot, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She is proficient in many procedures including endometrial ablations, myomectomy and LEEPs. Often these procedures can be performed in the office with ease.Dr. McCants loves to cook and states she would become a chef if she was not a physician. She is always the loudest cheerleader at her kid's events, often to her kid's embarrassment. She absolutely adores her husband, two sons, one daughter and one super cute German shepherd mutt!

Biography: Dr. Callejas is a graduate of Texas A&M University. She completed her medical education at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, where she served as administrative Chief Resident.Her practice philosophy is to to treat each woman with the same compassion and understanding as she would her own sister, mother, daughter or friend. She strives to educate her patients so they can make informed decisions about their health and obtain the best possible outcomes for themselves, their babies and their families. Dr. Callejas enjoys all aspects of caring for women but has a special interest in obstetrics and the care of teens.She is married and mother to two little boys and a girl Boxer. She enjoys spending time with her close-knit extended family, traveling, reading, cooking and dancing.

Biography: Dr. Natalie Light has been in practice since 2004 providing innovative quality care for women in Dallas. Dr. Light is committed to developing lifelong relationships with her patients and enjoys being able to guide women through all phases of life and her health needs. "I'm pretty down to earth, straight-forward and friendly" she says. "I like to have a variety of different age patients at different stages in their lives. One reason I love my specialty is that we usually get to know our patients well." Dr. Light and her husband, Jeff, of fourteen years have one child. She enjoys spending time with her family cooking, reading, traveling and casual entertaining in her leisure time.
