worst experience ever. they put a catheter in send you home cause you great pain and do not care. They do not tell you how to take care of yourself or maintain the catheter. The staff is rude, incompetent, uncaring. The doctor does not explain what is going on, does not even stay in the room or answer questions, said a test is scheduled and no one ever calls. Do not walk run! This is the absolute worst place to have a urologist he and the staff do not care about the patient. If I could give a negative number I would

He doesn’t ever have records or computer with him
I have to ask Dr. Kadesky about PSA #’s, lab results, etc…every time. He’s never prepared for office visit. Mine have been elevated now for 6 months & he never intervened knowing I have prostate cancer. I had to call & leave a message for him about it. Then nurse called & wanted me to start a prescription I’ve never taken before & I asked her what it does & she said she didn’t know. Whattt?

EXCELLENT DOCTOR WITH GREAT OFFICE STAFF
I returned to Dr. Kadesky after not seeing him for a few years. I passed a kidney stone recently and I decided I better start seeing him again. As always, he was great, he prescribed a medication, and scheduled another appointment.

Office is in chaos Dr doesn’t have a nurse they operate like by committee like a baseball bullpen . They have never responded to the patient portal when operating efficiently which is rare . A scan was recommended by a Dr at Presbyterian on my thigh and Dr K confirmed that he was to order a prostate scan simultaneously which never happened . Either he is overwhelmed in his office or wanted a separate billing for a new scan . This example of his ineptness is freighting . Dr K recommended a Pet Scan of prostate the results were in his office on a Monday ( confirmed by SW Diagnostic Presbyterian) I attempted multiple times to reach him by portal and phone in which I never was able to connect or receive back a return message . It was only when I contacted the CEO of the group Jeri Wilson ( also a liar ) that she contacted Dr K two weeks later on a Friday that he finally called back to advise of the scan results . My suggestion contact UTSW for your healthcare needs .

Rushed and very disorganized
The good part was that I got an appointment fairly quickly. Bad parts: Doctor seemed very rushed. He was in and out of my room three times. He flipped back and forth between me and other patient's rooms. Grossly disorganized doctor, staff, and office. Surgery center called me the day after my appt. saying that I was scheduled for surgery for the following day. I was shocked, and told them I did not asked to be scheduled for surgery. I called Dr. Kadesky's office asking why surgery center has me on their schedule, I was not having surgery. More shocking was when the surgery center called me the following day to ask me why I wasn't there yet for my scheduled surgery!

First appt. was good, he had his staff schedule a Uro Dynamics test and I couldn't take the pain so when I went back he was upset I didn't get test done and was going to schedule a different test that would sedate me. It's been two weeks now and the test still hasn't been scheduled. His asst. Chris I guess is too busy and took a week to call me back and now I'm still waiting for him to schedule it. He said the doctor is very busy and it might take 2 weeks to get me in. I'm in a lot of pain but didn't seem to care. Guess i'll find a different doctor
