Dr. Huong Hegde, MD

It has been ten years since I have had this good of experience with a Urologist. I have had continuous problems with my prostate for 30 years. Dr. Hedge teats my like she is interested in my health, I appreciate the time she spends with and her willingness to answer my questions, she is the best.

I am very pleased with the support I’ve received from Dr. Hegde.

She seems so knowledgeable and yet not overpowering . She explained my symptoms and made me comfortable

After having another appointment with Dr. Hegde to discuss the tests that my surgeon had as urgent that Dr. Hegde delayed 2 months, I felt very belittled. She spoke in a very almost cutesy belittling way and did not take responsibility for how long her and her office staff delayed my urgent testing. I asked if there was a better way to communicate with the office and she said McKinney was better than the Plano office, but that they were working on the portal. I understand that office staff are often understaffed but over several months while needing tests quickly, and consistently getting misunderstood or pushed off, I would highly not recommend this office or this doctor.It is very hard to contact her or her office staff outside of an appointment. Their phone lines are consistently busy, they only sometimes return voicemails, and portal messages often take several days-weeks to get responses. Dr. Hegde did not take ownership of this.

Dr. Hegde has always done a super job on taking very good care of me and any problems or issues

I had a very good experience with Dr. Hegde. This was a first time appointment and I will continue seeing her for future care.

Dr. Hegde was very attentive, and answered all my questions very kindly, and patiently..I was a little nervous at this first appointment, and the Doctor put me totally at ease. I have complete trust in her, and am happy to have her taking care of me.

Dr Hedge & her assistants were all completely prepared for my procedure, they were knowledgeable, professional &, as importantly, caring. I definitely recommend Dr Hedge.

Staff was great, processed me well. DR explained everything well and took time to answer questions and was pleasant to talk with.

Dr. Hedge is concerned for her patients. She takes the time needed to answer all questions.

Dr Hegde became my Urologist after Dr Wierschem left the practice! My PSA was climbing rapidly and Dr Hegde listened to my concerns and took a very proactive role in addressing my concerns! She has my complete confidence!

Dr. Hegde was completely honest with me about my condition and what I needed to do to improve my ability to sleep thru the night. She was also very gentle and caring while performing my pelvic exam. Truly a caring and honest physician.

Dr. Hedge entered the room with a smile on her face and was very professional during the short visit. She explained the results of my test and was very informative!

First visit went very well. Doctor Hegde is excellent and pleasant to speak with. Her staff is very professional. My family doctor recommended her, and after this visit, I would also highly recommend.

When visiting with Dr. Hegde I was truly impressed with the courtesy of the people that were working there as well as Dr. Hegde! She listens and that is such a "top of the list" thing for me that I knew that I had come to the right place!

When I arrived I thought it might take a while but it didn't. I had to finish a few pages of paperwork in the room. The office and PA were very nice to talk to and informative. Once I had a chance to talk with DR. Hegde she was just nice. She listened and asked questions. I had my own questions that she was able to provide answers for. For a first visit to a urologist, I am well pleased with the visit and recommend her.
