Biography: Yetunde Awosemusi, M.D., is an OBGYN physician at Women's Health of Las Colinas, located on the campus of Medical City Las Colinas, where she provides obstetric and gynecologic care to people of all ages.Dr. Awosemusi earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago. There, she served as Academic Chief Resident and helped organize the learning and educational goals for her fellow residents. She achieved board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2018 and is currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas.Prior to joining Women's Health of Las Colinas, Dr. Awosemusi was an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. During her time at UT Southwestern, she taught medical students and residents, served as course director for a medical student course, spearheaded several quality improvement projects that improved patient care and actively participated in several quality and safety committees. In 2022, she was selected as the faculty senator to represent the department of OB/GYN at the UT Southwestern Faculty Senate.Dr. Awosemusi has delivered a variety of presentations and published several academic articles. She also has research experience in topics such as maternal obesity and the risk of preeclampsia, techniques for improving breastfeeding initiation and continuation in underserved populations. She has presented her research at national medical conferences. Her clinical interests include low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, management of fibroids, addressing abnormal periods through medication and minimally invasive surgery, and most importantly providing patient centered care. In recognition of her excellent care, she received the North Texas Child Mom-Approved OB/GYNs & Midwives award in 2020. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.Originally from Nigeria, Dr. Awosemusi moved to the United States as a teenager, giving her a unique ability to understand people from diverse backgrounds. She currently lives in Las Colinas, a suburb of Irving, Texas where she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Biography: Dr. Myears loves making personal connections with her patients and looks forward to taking care of women throughout all stages of life, from contraceptive counseling to pregnancy to the menopausal transition. She feels lucky that women trust her with their health journey and prioritizes shared decision making when forming management plans. She has a special interest in adolescent contraceptive management, both high and low risk pregnancies, addressing modifiable risk factors for cancer, and PCOS. She graduated from the University of Missouri summa cum laude and then moved to Dallas to attend UT Southwestern for medical school. She stayed in Dallas for residency at Parkland Hospital, one of the highest volume obstetric hospitals in the nation. She served as chief resident and won several teaching awards from the medical students and residents. Biography: Dr. Kurian grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then graduated from Texas A&M University College of Medicine with honors, and completed her residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Kurian was elected as chief resident and was voted one of 2004 Berlex Laboratories Best Second-year Teaching Residents. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, completed in December 2008. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Kurian has a special interest in routine and high-risk obstetrics, annual gynecologic exams, abnormal Pap smear evaluations, contraception, and gynecologic surgery. She enjoys caring for women of all ages, and can help her patients from puberty to peri-menopause.She is certified in Da Vinci minimally invasive robotic surgery and can perform many in-office procedures, including endometrial ablations, diagnostic hysteroscopy, and excision procedures for cervical dysplasia.She and her husband are the proud parents to two boys, Noah and Lucas. She also has a rescue dog, Julius Erving, who has stolen her heart.
