Love Dr Woodus. She’s the best. Referred my daughters and friend to her. I’ve not had any issues with the front desk but one of my daughters has experienced the male receptionist’s unpleasantness.

Unprofessional
I scheduled an appointment 5 months in advance because online they are scheduling far out, I waited for my appointment patiently. I've been to Dr.Woodus before I think she's great, it was the way things were handled by staff. I received a email saying my appointment was cancelled out of no where, I called the office and the front desk told me they are no longer excepting woman's health Medicaid, I was never aware of it until they cancelled my appointment without notifying me of the change in there office. Very unprofessional. Now here I am looking for a new doctor and new appointment 5 months later after waiting for my original appointment.

Amazing Doctor, Horrible Office Manager
The doctor is beyond thorough and comforting, but the office manager who is a male is not accountable, not personable and does not do his job, resulting in stress during my first pregnancy and the push to find a new doctor while five months pregnant although I LOVE all that Dr. Woodus has done. Listen to the reviews about the front desk PLEASE!

So Sad
I just ended a very heated, crazy conversation with the male receptionist at Dr. Woodus' office. He called to confirm an appointment that I requested via the portal. However, another woman already called to confirm it last week. He went round and round with me ultimately blaming me for having 2 different accounts in their office. Ummm... last I checked, I don't work in their office! I have always tried to support black professionals, but I can't keep dismissing this man's behavior. It's such a shame that a talented doctor is losing patients because of one pompous, unprofessional person who can't admit he's wrong, but would rather spend his time going back and forth with women.

The dr is pleasant but the husband who helps run it is the worst. He is rude and very disrespectful. When he called me to set my appointment he kept complaining about the staff and how "they shouldn't do this and shouldn't have done that". I do not want to have services rendered at a business that complains to a patient about the staff

Great doctor, bad staff.
I have been a patient of Dr. Woodus’s for just over a year, until today. I want to start by saying that Dr. Woodus, individually, is a competent, caring, and thorough medical professional. Unfortunately, I started experiencing issues with her office and auxiliary staff about 4-5 months ago. Today, when I went in for my annual Well-Woman’s exam, the front desk staff attempted to charge me for a $50 copay. Knowing that my annual visit is covered by my medical insurance, I called my insurance company (BlueCross BlueShield of Texas) and spoke with a representative to verify this information. Today was more so the last straw in a string of inconveniences and inconsistencies. I’m actually very sad that I feel the need to leave to receive better care because I’ve never had any issue with Dr. Woodus herself and because finding a black, woman gynecologist can be challenging.

I had a D&C with her 03-16-12, during my surgery she cut my bladder and told no when she lied to me saying I was crazy and needed to be in the nut house. Well I got a new dr and he found the scar on my bladder where it had been sliced open
