Dr. Wells has a special medical interest in emergency general surgery. Dr. Wells takes a maternalistic approach to patient care. She seeks to understand each patient's goals and to help them achieve them. Her role is to assist, not judge. Dr. Wells' focus on patient-centered care resulted in the receipt of an Award for Outstanding Patient Satisfaction for five consecutive years.
